Mac's PL-50

Mac's Vertical Home Lift PL-50 Porch Lift

Up to 50 in. · 750 lb · Five-year limited warranty

Roll right up to your own front door.

Your power chair can take you through the whole neighborhood, the grocery store and the park. But it cannot climb the four steps to your own front door. Every time you come home, someone has to help you out of the chair, steady you up the stairs and then wrestle the heavy chair or scooter up behind you.

It is exhausting for everyone, and it is dangerous. One slip on those steps can mean a fall, a broken hip and a hospital stay. So you go out less, stay home more and start to feel like a prisoner in the house you love, all because of a few porch steps that never used to matter.

The Mac's Vertical Home Lift PL-50 ends the struggle at the door. Roll onto the non-skid platform in your wheelchair or scooter, press the key-lock constant-pressure switch, and the lift carries you smoothly up to 50 inches while you stay seated. It holds 750 pounds, enough for virtually any power chair and rider, and a 12-inch automatic folding ramp and 42-inch handrails keep every ride steady. It runs on ordinary household current, works in temperatures from minus 30 to 120 degrees, includes a manual hand crank for power outages, and is built in America by a family company with a five-year limited warranty. Come and go on your own schedule again, with no one lifting anything. Call (800) 733-1818 for a free in-home measurement.

Mac's PL-72 & PL-90

Mac's Vertical Home Lift PL-72 and PL-90

Up to 72 and 90 in. · 90° exit option

Lift straight up instead of building a 70-foot ramp.

Your home sits up high. Maybe it is a raised foundation, a manufactured home on piers or a deck that wraps the back of the house five or six feet off the ground. Getting a wheelchair or scooter up that height means a long staircase that is simply impossible to climb in a chair.

You have probably looked at ramps. For every inch of rise, a ramp needs a full foot of length, so a six-foot rise could mean seventy-two feet of switchbacks marching across your yard. It costs a fortune, swallows the landscaping, and the long climb is exhausting even with a power chair. There has to be a better way home.

The Mac's PL-72 and PL-90 lift you straight up instead. The PL-72 rises up to six feet and the PL-90 reaches 90 inches, both on a compact platform with the same 750-pound capacity, non-skid surface, automatic folding ramp and key-lock constant-pressure control as the popular PL-50. A half-horsepower AC instant-reverse motor lets you start, stop and change direction at any point, and the weather-sealed, powder-coated finish stands up to the Arizona sun. Need to exit to the side? A 90-degree exit platform turns tight corners into easy entries. Both are backed by Mac's five-year limited warranty and installed by Electropedic's own technicians. We handle the measuring, installation and service. Skip the endless ramp and enjoy a lift that takes up just a few square feet. Call (800) 733-1818 today.

Mac's EVL

Mac's Extended Vertical Lift EVL-107, EVL-121, EVL-134 and EVL-149

107 to 149 in. · Optional ADA package

Live on every level of your home again.

Your home has two levels, and your power chair can only use one of them. The bedroom is upstairs, or the garage sits a full story below the living area, or the main floor is reached only by a long flight of steps. Every day you are forced to choose which part of your own home you are allowed to live in.

Some people give up the second floor entirely and move their bed into the dining room. Others leave their scooter in the garage and struggle up the stairs on unsteady legs. Remodeling for a home elevator can cost a small fortune and take months of construction, while the stairs stay just as steep as ever. Your own home should not be off-limits to you.

The Mac's Extended Vertical Lift takes you between floors while you stay in your chair. Available as the EVL-107, EVL-121, EVL-134 and EVL-149, it rises from about nine to more than twelve feet on a 32-by-48-inch platform rated for 750 pounds, perfect for second-story decks, garage-to-house entries and floor-to-floor travel. An optional ADA package adds a safety pan, solid side panels, interlocked gates, call-and-send switches and an emergency stop for commercial-grade protection. It runs on household current, is built in the USA by Mac's, and Mac's has even built custom lifts with as much as 168 inches of rise. Live on every level of your home again. Bruno Platform Lift

Bruno Residential Vertical Platform Lift, VPL-3100 and VPL-3200 Series

750 lb · Low-threshold entry · Battery option

Garage to kitchen, without a single step.

The garage is the safest way into your home. It is shaded, covered and close to the car. But between the garage floor and the kitchen door there are three steep steps, and your scooter or power chair cannot climb a single one of them. So every trip in and out turns into a balancing act on tired legs.

In the Arizona summer that struggle gets worse. Using the front entrance means crossing a sunbaked driveway, and a ramp long enough for those three steps would eat up the parking space you need. You start avoiding trips altogether, and the car sits idle in the garage. Three small steps should not decide where you can go.

The Bruno vertical platform lift is the cost-effective answer. Made in the USA by a veteran-founded, family-owned company, it carries up to 750 pounds with a low-threshold entry that makes rolling on effortless. An integrated safety sensor stops the platform if it meets an obstruction, and a space-saving design fits where a ramp never could. Bruno's 4- and 6-foot lifts run on household current and can be upgraded to battery power, and the 10-foot units come with batteries standard, so you keep moving even when the power goes out. Add a platform gate, landing gate, call-and-send station or a power gate operator, all backed by a two-year limited warranty. Our own technicians will measure, install and service it. Garage to kitchen in seconds. Call (800) 733-1818 today.

Highlander II & VPLX-DC

Harmar Highlander II and VPLX-DC Vertical Platform Lifts

Up to 14 ft · Steady Drive · Battery options

A lift you can count on every day.

You need a lift you can count on every single day, not just when the weather is mild and the power is on. Older platform lifts shake, clank and break down without warning, and when one fails you are stranded outside your own door, waiting for someone to come and help you get home.

Unreliable equipment turns independence into anxiety. You start to wonder whether the lift will work before every trip, worry about power outages during monsoon storms and dread the next service call. A lift is supposed to set you free, not leave you guessing. You deserve equipment that simply works, day after day, year after year.

Harmar's Highlander II is engineered for confidence. Its Steady Drive ACME screw rotates 75 percent slower than the competition for a remarkably smooth, quiet ride, while the SmartSense board monitors motor temperature, cycles and battery status, and the four-light Guardian System tells you at a glance that the lift is ready. Press the oversized Big Blue Paddle and ride up to 14 feet with 750 pounds of capacity, with an optional ReadyUPS battery backup providing at least five full cycles in an outage. For simpler jobs up to 4 or 6 feet, the VPLX-DC runs entirely on four onboard batteries with plug-and-play wiring, so it simply plugs into a standard GFCI outlet. Both are assembled in the USA and installed by our own technicians. Call (800) 733-1818 and ride with confidence.

Questions & Answers

Does Electropedic install wheelchair lifts anywhere in Arizona?

Yes. Electropedic offers local delivery, setup, installation and service to all of Arizona, including every city and town in Maricopa County. Call (800) 733-1818 for a free in-home measurement.

Is a vertical platform lift better than a ramp?

Often, yes. A ramp needs about one foot of length for every inch of rise, so 24 inches of steps would require roughly 24 feet of ramp. A platform lift fits in a few square feet and lifts you straight up while you stay in your chair.

How much weight can a platform lift carry?

The Mac's, Bruno and Harmar lifts we feature are rated for 750 pounds, enough for virtually any power wheelchair or scooter and its rider.

What happens if the power goes out?

Mac's PL lifts include a manual hand crank, Bruno's 10-foot units come with batteries and its 4- and 6-foot units can be upgraded, and Harmar offers the ReadyUPS backup on the Highlander II and fully battery-powered VPLX-DC.

Can a platform lift go between floors inside my home?

Yes. Mac's EVL series rises up to about 149 inches and Harmar's Highlander II up to 14 feet for floor-to-floor and second-story access. Taller or commercial applications may require enclosures and permits.

Do you sell used wheelchair lifts?

Yes. Electropedic sells inspected, reinstalled used vertical platform lifts at about half the regular price, with rent, own and finance options.
